WELL WATER SYSTEMS

Well Water Is Different

No two wells are alike.

We custom-engineer every system around your actual water chemistry — tested by an independent lab, spec'd by a water expert, and installed by our own certified teams.

Common Well Water Problems

Well problems announce themselves as stains, smells, and scale — not chemical names. Find what you're seeing, and we'll show you the system that solves it.

Orange or rust-colored stains

Iron

Solved by the IMS System

Dark or black stains

Manganese

Solved by the IMS System

Rotten-egg smell

Hydrogen sulfide

Solved by the IMS System or Chlorinator

Scale buildup and spotting

Hardness

Solved by ScaleSolver

White film, cloudy glassware

Silica

Solved by ScaleSolver, spec'd per test

Cloudy or gritty water

Sediment

Solved by the Pre-Sediment Filter

Blue-green stains, pipe corrosion

Low pH / acidity

Solved by the Calcite Feeder

Invisible risks

Bacteria & viruses

Solved by ApaPure or Chlorinator

Fluoride concerns

Fluoride

Solved by the Bone Char System

Arsenic, nitrates, metals

Varies by well

Solved by Reverse Osmosis

It Starts With a Test

The EPA is blunt about it: "Well owners are responsible for their own water quality." No utility tests or treats well water before it reaches your taps — so every LifeSource well system starts with a certified lab test, not a sales pitch.

  • Independent analysis by SimpleLab, a nationally recognized certified laboratory
  • The Advanced Well Water Test screens 114+ contaminants — heavy metals, bacteria, fluoride, and silica
  • Also analyzes minerals like calcium and magnesium, plus pH and hardness levels
  • Every report is reviewed with you by a certified water specialist

Fully credited toward your system purchase — your test is essentially free.

Well Treatment Systems Lineup

The full toolbox. Your system uses only the components your water test calls for.

Foundation

On nearly every well system
Elite Water Filter

Elite Water Filter

Whole-house carbon filtration for clean, great-tasting water at every tap.

  • No maintenance, no salt, no chemicals
  • NSF/ANSI-42 tested and certified for removal of chlorine taste and odor
  • Certified filtration capacity of 2.2 to 5.7 million gallons
ScaleSolver

ScaleSolver

Whole-house scale reducer — no salt, no wastewater.

  • No maintenance, no salt, no chemicals
  • No water waste
  • No electricity required
ApaPure12

ApaPure12

Whole-house disinfection that kills bacteria, viruses, spores, and cysts.

  • Kills bacteria, viruses, spores, and cysts

Well-Specific Treatment

Added when your test calls for them
IMS System

IMS System

Removes iron, manganese, and sulfur odor.

  • Treats iron — the source of orange stains
  • Treats manganese — dark or black stains
  • Clears hydrogen sulfide (rotten-egg smell)
  • Backwashes to clean and refresh its medium
Calcite Feeder

Calcite Feeder

Raises low pH to stop acidic-water corrosion.

  • Acid neutralizer — raises pH level
  • Protects pipes, fixtures, and appliances
  • Backwashes to clean and refresh its medium
Chlorinator

Chlorinator

Injects chlorine to disinfect water and kill bacteria.

  • Disinfects water and kills bacteria
  • Oxidizes contaminants
  • Periodic solution refills, handled by our service team
Pre-Sediment Filter

Pre-Sediment Filter

Catches dirt, silt, and mud before they reach your system.

  • Filters sediment, silt, and mud
  • Stops large physical particulates
  • Protects downstream equipment
Bone Char System

Bone Char System

Treats fluoride in your water.

  • Targeted fluoride treatment
  • Natural bone char media

Well Water Questions

Can I skip the test?

No — and honestly, neither can we. Without a lab analysis we'd be guessing at your treatment train, and guessing leads to systems that don't solve the problem. The $299 kit is fully credited toward your purchase, so testing doesn't add to your cost.

Can I use a water test I already have?

Often, yes. If you have a recent comprehensive lab report — roughly within the last twelve months — send it over. A water specialist will review it and tell you whether it covers what we need or whether a re-test makes sense.

What if my well has multiple problems?

That's typical. Most well systems combine two or more components into a single treatment train — for example a Pre-Sediment Filter, IMS System, and ScaleSolver in sequence. Your water test tells us exactly which components, and in what order.

Do I need all of these tanks?

No. The lineup above is the full toolbox — almost no well needs everything. You only get the components your water chemistry actually calls for.

How is this different from a water softener?

A softener only trades hardness minerals for sodium — it does nothing for iron, sulfur smell, bacteria, or acidity, and it adds salt maintenance and wastewater. LifeSource well systems treat the actual problems your test finds, and our core systems use no salt at all.

What maintenance should I expect?

Our core systems — the Elite Water Filter, ScaleSolver, and ApaPure — are maintenance-free. Well-specific components do need periodic attention: the IMS System needs periodic checks, the Calcite Feeder's media is replenished, and the Chlorinator's solution is refilled. Our own service teams handle all of it — we'll tell you the schedule before you buy.
