Cleaner water from every tap. No salt. No hassle.
Las Vegas water is some of the hardest in the country. LifeSource filters and conditions your water at the point of entry, so every tap delivers cleaner, better-tasting water without the salt, waste, or maintenance of a traditional water softener.
Las Vegas water comes from Lake Mead via the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA). It's treated to meet federal standards, but what's legal isn't always what you'd choose to drink.
| Key Contaminant | Las Vegas Level | Context |

LifeSource installs a whole-house water filtration and conditioning system at the point of entry to your home. Every faucet, shower, and appliance gets filtered, conditioned water.
Reduces chlorine, chloramine, sediment, and other common contaminants found in Las Vegas municipal water. Carbon-based media, no chemicals added.
Addresses hard water scale without salt, brine discharge, or wastewater. Minerals stay in your water. The scale doesn't stay on your fixtures.
Installed at the main water line. Every tap, every shower, every appliance. One system replaces the patchwork of under-sink filters, shower filters, and fridge filters.
| Feature | LifeSource | Traditional Softener |

Traditional water softeners discharge salt brine into municipal wastewater systems. That brine is expensive and difficult to remove during treatment, and it can damage the environment when it reaches rivers, lakes, and groundwater. In water-scarce regions like the Las Vegas Valley, this is a growing concern.
Nevada context:
While Nevada does not currently have a statewide softener ban, Southern Nevada's water conservation priorities and Lake Mead's declining levels make brine discharge an increasingly scrutinized issue. Several California cities — including Santa Clarita, Fillmore, and communities in Santa Clara Valley and San Bernardino County — have already restricted or banned salt-based softeners for exactly this reason.
LifeSource systems use no salt and produce zero brine discharge, making them fully compliant with all current and future state water softener regulations.
Real reviews from LifeSource customers in the Las Vegas area.
This is my 3rd LifeSource system through 3 new homes over the last 10 years. The reason I keep coming back is that there is nothing on the market that compares for the quality of the water, the reliability and ease of use. I highly recommend this system, it is the best and most efficient out there.
We've been very happy with our system for 12 years. A friend got one in Vegas at a show and could not recommend it enough. We love that we were able to move on from our high-maintenance salt system to something much less finicky and more pleasant to drink from.
This water system isn't cheap but so worth it! No more buying water, and it tastes great. We're drinking more water and use it in our coffee and cooking. The showers clean very easily and your skin and hair feels softer. Great investment and basically no maintenance.
