Bottled Water

The easy way to end plastic bottled water waste

Go green with environmentally friendly LifeSource Systems

A note from our LifeSource President.

For 40 years, LifeSource Water Systems has provided homes across America with clean water from every tap.  We’re proud to make eco-friendly salt-free water systems that don’t waste water.  With a LifeSource Whole House Water System, families can stop buying plastic water bottles and drink straight from the tap.

In 2017 the United States plastic water bottle consumption rose to around 50 billion.  Only 23% of those plastic water bottles were recycled for reuse.  Most plastic water bottles continue to end up in landfills or our oceans.  Plastic takes at least 400 years to degrade and most plastic can never fully bio-degrade. This means that once plastic is created, it will never be 100% gone, it just continues to get smaller and smaller until it is microscopic in size.  In the past few years, micro-plastic has even been found in our seafood.

Not only are discarded water bottles causing environmental pollution, the manufacturing process uses up large amounts of energy, water and non-renewable fossil fuels.  Did you know it takes more water to manufacture a single plastic water bottle than the amount of water that bottle can hold?  Most plastic water bottles are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is a petroleum based plastic.

This is why we thank you for joining our LifeSource family.  Together we can all make a big difference!

Let friends and family know the importance of ending our dependence on bottled water!
