Katharine Hope McPhee is an American pop singer, model, songwriter, and actress from Los Angeles, CA. She became famous on the fifth season of American Idol, where she came in runner up to Taylor Hicks. Her albums have been a large success on the pop billboard charts, including such hits as "Over It" and "Had It All." McPhee has also begun pursuing an acting career, appearing in movies like The House Bunny.
